Lance is the clinic's owner and has worked in the physical therapy field since 1996. He is an active diver and snowboarder,
as well as an expert surfer having surfed Mavericks consistently since 1995. Lance has extensive experience in outpatient
orthopedics, including a special emphasis on knee and shoulder injuries. With his surfing background and orthopedic physical
therapy experience, Lance has become the go to person for surfing related injuries. He occasionally helps out as a member of
the onsite healthcare team at ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) events in California. He is also involved with
Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopedic surgery for indigent children and young
adults in developing countries worldwide. Lance has gone on multiple medical missions to countries in Central and South America.
He also leads the aquatic therapy program offered by the clinic.

Dr. David Li is a Bay Area native who has had various work experiences in outpatient orthopedics, hospital acute care, and
skilled nursing facility settings. He has worked with patients of all ages, as well as Cantonese-speaking patients. His passion
for fitness and healthcare began at an early age and was further solidified when he attended the University of California,
Davis to receive his B.S in Exercise Physiology. He graduated with Honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health
Sciences, San Marcos, where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Dr. Li’s approach to physical therapy is best
described as eclectic, with an emphasis on manual-based treatments and progressive exercise for optimal patient rehabilitation.
He is devoted to carefully assessing and treating each patient to the best of his abilities. Aside from healthcare and fitness,
David is an avid sports fanatic who supports all Bay Area teams, especially the Golden State Warriors and the S.F. Giants. David’s
favorite pastimes are traveling, restaurant-hunting on Yelp, spending money on clothes, and attending concerts and music festivals.

As the most recent addition to the Ocean Beach clinic, Kylie Rowe was happily welcomed to the team in
January of 2017. An Australian native, she received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy
from University of Sydney in 1986 with emphases on Maitland and McKenzie manual therapy, exercise
techniques and philosophies. She has 30 years of experience working in both private practice and
hospital outpatient settings. In 2014, Kylie pursued her DPT at the University of South Dakota and
ventured into education, teaching Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise and Advanced Clinical
Problems at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. At Pacific, Kylie developed the community
program “Living Healthy Living with Pain”. Moving to San Francisco, Kylie brings to OBPT this
special interest in working with people diagnosed with chronic neck pain, back pain, shoulder,
knee and arthritic conditions. In her spare time Kylie enjoys walking, swimming, and attending
jazz concerts and musical theatre productions.
